GLYCEMIC FLEX notion and GLYCEMIC FLEX DIETFIT by Bogdan Marciu
White Papers Glycemic Flex. I will use the “Glycemic Flex” term for the inflexion point which is the “Minimum/Maximum value” – Lowest/Highest value of a function:
Blood sugar (GLYCEMIC BLOOD VALUE) function(t) where t=time
Under normal conditions blood sugar increases at the end of a meal, taking the MAX value at that point (which is the inflexion – FLEX – MAX superior point) after that it will be followed by a fast decrease in the case of a healthy person and is met by a slow decrease in METABOLIC SYNDROME or Diabetes.
With GLYCEMIC FLEX DIETFIT we want to use aliments that would insure a minimum MAX VALUE of GLYCEMIC FUNCTION and after each meal we will do physical exercises, the waiting time must be past the GLYCEMIC superior FLEX.
The body uses blood sugar (glucose) for effort. After a meal the BLOOD SUGAR increases reaching GLYCEMIC SUPERIOR FLEX. After this through physical exercises the BLOOD SUGAR is bound to decrease more abruptly than in a stil state of the body because the BLOOD SUGAR will be used as a resource for said effort.
The effort must be mild and aerobic, just enough for the GLUCOSE TO REACH THE INFERIOR GLYCEMIC FLEX.
AT THE GLYCEMIC INFERIOR FLEX THE MUSCLE ENTER THE GLYCOGENOLISIS STATE AND BLOOD SUGAR WILL INCREASES FROM GLYCOGENOLISIS.
HOW CAN WE TELL THE GLYCOGENOLISIS HAS BEGUN? THE BLOOD SUGAR WILL START INCREASING AGAIN AFTER ITS DECREASE.
The first of the higher blood sugar values represents the beginning of the GLYCOGENOLISIS meaning the physical and therapeutical exercises should be stopped due to the fact that the muscles start decreasing in volume and blood sugar would increase again.
This means around 20-25 minutes 3x per day, under the condition that the body is put to rest after a meal, having enough time post eating (because we have to wait out the blood sugar to pass the SUPERIOR GLYCEMIC FLEX/ the first blood sugar value has to be lower than SUPERIOR GLYCEMIC FLEX).
The benefits would be that day by day we are able to assure a lower value of the SUPERIOR GLYCEMIC FLEX, thus we could decrease more abruptly the blood sugar curve.
Therefore we could get to a lower MAX BLOOD SUGAR VALUE and a fast decrease by forcing the BIO AVAILABILITY INTO THE MUSCLES.
This system could be used for both loosing weight and preserving a healthy lifestyle at the same time.
The diet will be described in next material.
Needed: a blood sugar measuring instrument like a Glucose meter, but the best choice is a CGM system (Continuous Glucose Monitoring) which is non-invasive.
Within the personal testing system ,carried out over a few months, I used a classical glucose meter. In order to determine the SUPERIOR GLYCEMIC FLEX (after which the physical exercises should be started) to the INFERIOR GLYCEMIC FLEX , the point where the exercises should be stopped( around 20-40 minutes in the effort stage). By using the
classical glucose meter the minimum number of punctures is between 6-8.
Due to the arguments previously stated above we prefer Continuous Monitoring system.
The compared curves, times and blood sugar peak with and without DietFit to the same persson and the same meal.
